Guy Fox
Guy Fox

Guy Fox and The Seshen are two creative Bay Area bands that are teaming up to release singles and co-headline a show at Rickshaw Stop this Friday, February 22. Listen to both tracks and see how you can win tickets to the show below.

Guy Fox’s new single is a rework of a song they’ve previously recorded, “San Francisco”. The track takes the band in a dreamier, almost space-age direction without sacrificing their great sense of rhythm that was so prominent on their prior releases. Guest vocalist Lalin St. Juste of The Seshen adds a stellar verse, and her beautiful voice meshes perfectly with the Guy Fox harmonies. In addition to the show with The Seshen Friday, Guy Fox will be playing a show at The Independent opening for the Tumbleweed Wanderers, before heading out on their first national tour later this year.

The Seshen
The Seshen

The Seshen, who released their solid debut LP in early 2012, recently shared a track off a forthcoming EP set to drop sometime in 2013. On “The Turn”, The Seshen starts off with a grainy acoustic intro before heading into a world where they build on a variety of influences, from soul and jazz to electro and chamber pop. It’s a great ride.

As if The Seshen and the Guy Fox weren’t enough, the indie pop stylings of Ash Reiter will kick things off. You’ll get to see all sorts of great local pop and really have no excuse not to go. In fact, we feel so strongly about you attending the show that we’re offering a pair of free tickets! Just follow the instructions below to enter.

To enter any contest submit an email to contest@thebaybridged.com with your full name in the body and “The Seshen/Guy Fox” in the subject line. The winner will be chosen at random.
