San Jose’s Antwon continues his streak of hits with the release of the video for “Still Guarded”, the first track from his forthcoming In Dark Denim mixtape. The tape, which will be released on Valentine’s Day, marks Antwon’s first release on Himanshu Suri‘s Greedhead Music, which is also planning to release an album from Berkeley’s Safe in the near future. While you wait to snuggle up with your sweetie and listen to In Dark Denim all day on the 14th, you can check out the video below. As usual, Antwon did a great job spitting his entertaining rhymes about his love life over a unique beat, this one from Cities Aviv out of Memphis. Unlike his classic sunshine-filled video for “Dreaming Every Dream”, the video for “Guarded” takes on a bit of a, well, darker theme. See for yourself below.
