With three 7” singles released in 2011 and a year full of touring in 2012, it seems odd that Bleached is only now about to drop their debut full length record, Ride Your Heart. However, a bit of notoriety before releasing a new record is always a good sign that a band is here to stay, and this LA-based-and-raised sister duo is no exception: they’ve already toured alongside like minded rockers such as Japandroids, Ty Segall, DIIV, and The Black Lips. The bleached hair, bleached denim girl-band comprised of Jennifer and Jessica Calvin have been seen all over the rock ‘n roll scene by now.

Summer is a stretch away, but Bleached’s first single “Next Stop” from Ride Your Heart evokes a sunny drive along the shore, mixing beachy garage with bright hooks and catchy vocals, echoing late-70s punk legends like Blondie and the Ramones.

In addition to the new single and forthcoming LP, Bleached has announced upcoming spring tour dates, including shows at SXSW, and of course a stop at the Independent in San Francisco on Cinco de Mayo, with support from Ex-Cops.
