Push The Feeling 2/8

Push The Feeling is back at Underground SF this Friday with a DJ set from LA Vampires and a live performance by Roche. As usual, founding residents epicsauce and YR SKULL will DJ the event.

San Francisco producer Ben Winans, a.k.a. Roche, released two 12″ EPs at the tail end of 2012. Auragan is out on Mathematics Recordings, and A Night at the Haç is out on Amanda Brown’s 100% Silk (listen to the title track below). His live sets have been known to incorporate a copious amount of analog gear to get the party started.

LA Vampires is the moniker of Not Not Fun/100% Silk label head Amanda Brown, who will be the headlining DJ. A founding member of Pocahaunted, Brown has collaborated with Zola Jesus, Octo Octa, Ital, and, most recently, Maria Minerva. As great as her original music is, her DJ sets are not to be missed. Listen to “Wherever Boy” featuring Octo Octa, below.
