San Francisco duo Seatraffic recently shared a new music video for “Put Away”, the b-side from the band’s Crimes 7-inch. The single is now available in both vinyl and digital forms, direct from the band’s bandcamp page. The video was directed, edited, and shot by Scott Hammel in various locations around San Francisco last summer. Watch the video below:
The video’s concept and imagery, which I Guess I’m Floating describes as “…Where The Wild Things Are meets the Hubble Telescope vibe,” came from a series of collaborative brainstorming sessions between Seatraffic, Hammel, and Luigi Savino, who did the album artwork for the Crimes 7-inch.
Seatraffic is the San Francisco based shoegaze-dream pop duo comprised of Mark Zannad (vocals, synths) and Brandon Harrison (drums). The band will be making their SXSW debut this March and, on February 13th, they will open for The Ruby Suns at Bottom of the Hill. Zannad and Harrison promised to release at least one new single before then.
