Up-and-coming NYC-based indie rockers Parquet Courts — whose lineup includes Andrew Savage of the Texas garage rock group Fergus & Geronimo — will headline an excellent roster at the Hemlock Tavern on January 16th that includes Andy Jordan of LENZ’s glam/punk solo project Andy Human. Parquet Courts are touring in support of their 2012 LP, “Light Up Gold”, which Savage has described as a return to “America’s scandalous origins”. Sacramento’s Fine Steps, who write pop rock ‘n roll ditties with a smooth, rich vocal style, round out the lineup.
