Of all the fantastic brews that will be available at this year’s Bay Brewed, I may personally be most excited to try Almanac Beer Co.‘s offerings, as their seasonal, “farm to bottle” approach to beer feels right at home here in Northern California. Almanac was founded in 2010 by Jesse Friedman and Damian Fagan with the philosophy of “farm-to-barrel brewing”, wherein Almanac works by “selecting the best in locally sourced fruit and blending it into beers inspired by the great brewing traditions of the world.”

Almanac’s “table beers” (available year-round) currently include Honey Saison and Extra Pale Ale, and they have also released some beautiful seasonal offerings. Much like Social Kitchen & Brewery, Almanac’s beers are designed to be paired with food (good thing Seoul on Wheels and Adam’s Grub Truck will be at the Bay Brewed as well!).
