Australian psych-rock giants Tame Impala will be performing at The Fillmore in San Francisco on Thursday, November 15th in support of their outstanding new album Lonerism. The Amazing, a psychedelic folk-rock band from Sweden, will open the sold-out show.

Tame Impala hails from Perth, on the west coast of Oz, and consists of Kevin Parker, Dom Simper, and Jay Watson. Lonerism (their second full-length and the follow-up to 2010’s InnerSpeaker) was released earlier this year on Modular Records to critical acclaim. On this record, the band transcends its obvious Beatles influence to create ambitious, full-bodied psych-rock anthems.

Watch the brand new video for album-highlight “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”, directed by Joe Pelling & Becky Sloan, below.

After the jump, check out another video from Tame Impala, details on their Fillmore show, and info on where to buy deluxe vinyl editions of Lonerism.

Deluxe Editions of Lonerism are still available from Modular, featuring the LP on exclusive turquoise vinyl, plus a bonus 7″ with previously unreleased tracks encased in a lavish black box. Watch the tripped-out music video for the album’s first single “Elephant” below.
