The Walkmen recently announced a ten-date tour of North America with Father John Misty, including a gig at The Fillmore here in San Francisco. The Washington, D.C.-native quintet kicks things off with a January 11th show in Philly, where some band members now live, before Father John (the current solo moniker of Joshua Tillman) joins them in Montreal a few days later. The tour arrives at the corner of Fillmore and Geary on January 24th.

In addition to the tour announcement, The Walkmen dropped a healthy serving of new live and studio material. They premiered three videos from their June album release show for their latest full-length Heaven at New York’s legendary Bowery Ballroom, a show that was live-streamed by Spotify and filmed by the great French music site La Blogotheque. The videos feature raw live renditions of two songs off Heaven (the title track and “Heartbreaker”) and one from 2008’s You & Me (“In the New Year”). Watch “Heartbreaker” below, then head over to La Blogotheque to watch the rest.

In addition to the live videos, The Walkmen are also releasing a limited edition 7″ next Tuesday, November 6th, featuring two previously unreleased tracks “Dance With Your Partner” and “Vermeer ’65”. CMJ premiered the songs, and you can stream them both below and pre-order the vinyl via Insound or Fat Possum.
