Thee Oh Sees

San Francisco’s favorite garage rockers Thee Oh Sees have released a new music video for “Lupine Dominus” that recently premiered on Pitchfork. The song is a cut from the band’s excellent new Putrifiers II LP, out now on In The Red Records.

Some have noticed that frontman John Dwyer explores a softer side of songwriting on the new album, but Dwyer assures his fans, “I will still strike an audience in the brain…. Maybe every now and then it would be okay if we relaxed a little.”

The NSFW video (directed by John Strong) takes place at a strip club, and features lots of pole dancing and chain smoking. Things take a turn for the unexpected as soon as the psychedelic bits of the song start to kick in, driving the narrative of the film. Instead of spoiling the surprise ending, watch the video below.
