Heavy Cream – the Nashville-based outfit whose debut LP Super Treatment was produced by Ty Segall and released on Infinity Cat Recordings, the label run by Jake and Jamin Orrall of JEFF The Brotherhood – dropped a new split 7-inch single with Atlanta quartet The Coathangers on Suicide Squeeze Records yesterday. Their contribution “Toasted” is two minutes of sludgy, fuzzy fury and recently premiered on Nylon. Check it out:
The split 7-inch is limited to a run of 750 copies, and the online pre-sale sold out already, so you’ll need to head out to your local record shop to get a vinyl copy.
Heavy Cream is hitting the road later this month with Those Darlins and Pangea, and they’ll be swinging through the City on November 9th to play a gig at Rickshaw Stop. Don’t miss your chance to catch these up-and-comers on their West Coast trek.
