The 2012 Rock Make Street Festival is this Saturday, September 15th. Read below to find out everything you’ll need to know about getting to the festival, what not to bring, and other important information for attendees.
Hours and Donations
Festival doors will open at noon, with music beginning promptly at 12:30pm. The festival ends at 7pm.
Entry to this festival is donation-based, with a suggested donation of $3-5. Donations help us pay our bands and help with all of the permit costs associated with the fest.
Rock Make 2012 is ALL AGES!
Location/Transportation
The 2012 Rock Make Street Festival takes place at the intersection of 18th Street & Treat Avenue in San Francisco’s Mission District, with festival entrances located at 17th Street & Treat Avenue and 18th Street & Folsom Avenue. The fest is located near 16th Street & Mission BART and a number of Muni lines.
A limited amount of first-come, first-served bike parking will be available outside of the festival. Please take your valuables with you, as we are not responsible for any loss or theft in the bike parking area. Bikes are not allowed inside the festival grounds during the event.
Accessibility
The entire festival is ADA-accessible, and ADA-accessible restrooms are available in the restroom area on the festival grounds.
Please Don’t Bring:
- Weapons, fireworks, explosives, chains, or laser pointers
- Alcohol (We’ll have a beer garden on-site – bring your valid ID for admission)
- Illegal substances
- Large or bulky containers, including large or hard-sided coolers, picnic baskets, or large backpacks
- Glass containers
- Instruments
- Professional audio/video recording equipment (members of the press interested in bringing these, please contact thebaybridged[at]gmail[dot]com)
No illegal, unauthorized or unlicensed vending of any kind will be permitted.
Food and Drinks
A variety of great food and drink options will be available on site. Come hungry and thirsty!
ATMs
There are no ATMs on-site, but many of our vendors and our beer garden will accept credit cards. Bring cash for donations!
Medical Needs
We will have nurses and EMTs on site to offer any emergency medical attention required.
