Did anyone catch Ty Segall at Indie Mart a few weeks ago playing with a lot of kid rockers? Well, that bunch of young talent belongs to SF Rock Project, a music school for youth located not far from Rock Make’s headquarters in the Mission. Some students of the school will be performing on Saturday promptly at 12:30pm on the 17th Street stage. They have planned a set of “all local” covers for Rock Make, including songs by Deerhoof and The Dodos. Be there early so as to not miss it!

Another continuing part of Rock Make that’s fun for all ages is the opportunity to bounce. Yeah, we will bring back the bounce house for both adults and children, but THIS YEAR we have sourced a 10-in-1 activity unit with more fun, which includes inflatable jousting.

Rock Make Street Festival takes place this Saturday, September 15, from 12-7pm on Treat Street & 18th Street. For more information, visit the event website or RSVP on Facbook to the event.
