East Bay hip hop duo Main Attrakionz dropped the first single from their upcoming debut album, Bossalinis & Fooliyones, due October 22nd via Young Ones Records.

The track “Do It For The Bay” is a chilled out cut, showcasing the avant-rap sound DIY MCs Squadda B and MondreM.A.N have pioneered along with the likes of Lil B and ASAP Rocky. A mellow, electric piano line rides on top of a simple beat produced by Harry Fraud, weird sci fi noises come in during the hook, and SF’s own DaVinci supplies a guest verse on this ode to the Bay Area.

Bossalinis & Fooliyones is being billed as the debut album from Main Attrakionz, but these dudes already have quite the back catalogue of mixtapes and other unofficial releases (many of which you can download for free on their Tumblr).

Main Attrakionz are currently on tour (dates after the jump) and will be playing here in SF on September. Don’t miss it.
