San Francisco’s Thee Oh Sees recently announced their 14th studio album Putrifiers II will drop September 11th, 2012 on In The Red Records and then made the track “Lupine Dominus” available for free download. Now, the unpredictable quartet led by singer and guitarist John Dwyer, is back with “Flood’s New Light”, a second track off the record that premiered on Pitchfork, and they also announced a 28-date North American tour to support the new record.

“Flood’s New Light” keeps with Dwyer and company’s hook-heavy leanings, soothing their listeners with a undeniably catchy “ba ba ba ba” chorus interspersed among verses filled with the bandleader’s falsetto, while maintaining a dirty garage rock edge. Take a listen:
