Local compilation 'In A Cloud II' with Ty Segall Band, Tim Cohen out this week, release show is 7/19/12 @ Amnesia

In A Cloud II, the absolutely stellar compilation featuring a whole mess of San Francisco musicians (Vetiver, Sonny and the Sunsets, Ty Segall, and more), is finally coming out this Tuesday via local label Secret Seven Records. And because there ain’t no party like a local music party, the label is throwing a record release party on Thursday, July 19 at Amnesia.

There will be performances by compilation contributors Will Sprott (of The Mumlers), Paula Frazer & Jesse Jackson, and Bad Backs (with Andrew Kerwin of Trainwreck Riders), all for the low price of $5. Preorders of the vinyl release are available on the label’s site.

The first In A Cloud compilation came highly recommended here at The Bay Bridged. It featured many of the same artists, as well as one of The Bay Bridged’s first favorite tracks from Exray’s: “Everything Goes.”
