The good folks at (((folk yeah))) are putting on a little show tonight at Brick and Mortar featuring SF’s own, cherished, beloved, one-of-a-kind Carletta Sue Kay. Here’s the video for the opening track off CSK’s recently released debut album, Incongruous, for your pre-gaming pleasure:
Carletta Sue Kay is opening up for Cleveland’s Baby Dee, who has just dropped a new album called Regifted Light that was produced by Andrew W.K. You shouldn’t necessarily expect Baby Dee to bring the amped up party tunes like her producer, however: The new album features cello, tuned percussion, and pump organs, as well as touches of brass and woodwind. Expect it to be a little more classical than, oh, I don’t know, “Party Hard”.
