Despite recently relocating to LA, Lars Finberg and his crew of misfits in The Intelligence continue to pump out San Francisco-style garage rock with gusto. He’s also joined Thee Oh Sees as a permanent member (a position one might assume requires some serious vigor).
Those of you with fond feelings towards jangle-pop should have no problem bouncing along to The Intelligence’s new single “Techno Tuesday,” which you can grab below. The new LP Everybody’s Got It Easy But Me follows on the heels of their 2010 release Males and continues the band’s increasingly hi-fi trajectory, showcasing their clearest recordings yet.
