For once, the tireless workhorse that is Thee Oh Sees appears to have taken a day off. Their new video for “Chem-Farmer”, a cut from their 2011 double EP Carrion Crawler/The Dream, features Los Angeles-based polka cover band Alpine Village People exclusively. Watch as director Chezerez Jourdain follows the lederhosen-sporting polka band as they overeat gas station goodies, play a raucous show, and sleep with some good-natured groupies at the after-party, all to the tune of Thee Oh Sees.

Turns out I was just kidding about the band taking a day off. They’re touring Europe right now and then playing the Pitchfork Music Festival and Outside Lands upon their return. I’m worn out just thinking about it. US tour dates below:
