Ty Segall Band

As if Ty Segall hasn’t been tremendously busy working on a collaborative album with White Fence and a completely solo album, here comes a third one for 2012: the debut album from the Ty Segall Band.

Slaughterhouse will drop June 26 on In The Red; the 11-song album comes in the fun, alternate form of a double 10-inch. The Ty Segall Band went into The Hangar Studios in Sacramento for this first record, which has been described as more of a collaborative effort amongst bandmates Mikal Cronin, Charlie Moothart, and Emily Rose Epstein, likely more in line with their live sound.

May 2 is the next time Ty Segall plays at home, with The Mallard and Shannon and the Clams at The Independent. Tickets are still available (8pm, $12).
