San Francisco rockers Ferocious Few have weathered quite a few storms in their days playing all over the city, but this one’s especially bad: On Feb 25th, someone stole lead singer Francisco Fernandez’s 1995 Red Nissan Pathfinder (License plate number 3SNY839) from 772 South Van Ness. It gets worse though. The van was full of every musical instrument Fernandez owns, including 3 guitars worth thousands of dollars, and the break-in happened just weeks before the band is scheduled to perform at SXSW.
The good news: the band played a benefit show on Sunday to raise money. If you missed the show, you can also donate to the band on their website. They’ve also got a new album on the way, which everyone should be sure to buy if they want more Ferocious Few music in their lives.
Be sure to check out this new live video as well, showcasing the band’s most recent lineup:
After SXSW, the band headlines the Great American Music Hall on March 29th with Zodiac Death Valley and B. Hamilton.
