Veronica Falls

Date: Friday, February 24th

Number of Noise Pop Shows: 10 shows, 38 bands

Already Sold-Out: Despite the fact that Two Gallants are playing two nights at Edinburgh Castle, both are sold out, as is Wye Oak, Bob Mould, and Jolie Holland. The return of Bay Area indie-pop band Imperial Teen this year has been met with lots of excitement, as their Cafe du Nord show will also be out of reach, unless there’s a Craigslist miracle.

Check These Shows Out: It shocks me to say that the Veronica Falls show at the Rickshaw Stop with Bleached, Brilliant Colors and Lilac is not sold out. On this evening, fans of garage pop should find no competition — this is a solid lineup and a great Friday night activity.

We also recommend before going anywhere Friday night, to stop by our Happy Hour at Bender’s to see Jel, James & Evander and Raleigh Moncrief (RSVP on Facebook).

If after our Happy Hour you decide your night must continue with heavy beats and loud electronic music, then Mezzanine is your next stop to see Glass Candy, Chromatics and Soft Metals. Again, it’s a shocker that tickets are still available – so grab them!

Chromatics – “Into the Black”

Veronica Falls – Bad Feeling from Slumberland Records on Vimeo.

Lilac – “So Young”

Brilliant Colors – “Absolutely Anything”
