Sic Alps headlines all-local show at The Verdi Club

Sic Alps is back from Europe with two new 7″s on Drag City. The band kicks of a three-show mini-tour on November 4th (9pm, $8) at The Verdi Club with Lilac, Sourpatch and Meridians.

Wild Flag returns to SF for two nights

Wild Flag is the rare supergroup to fulfill that loaded term’s promise. Having released one of the year’s most immediate albums, the band is performing a two-night stint at the Great American Music Hall on November 4th and 5th (9pm, $17).

Zodiac Death Valley and The Icarus Line celebrate new records at Cafe Du Nord

SF rock and roll band Zodiac Death Valley celebrates its debut album, which arrives next Tuesday on Omega Records, with two nights at Cafe Du Nord. For both shows, the band will be joined by The Icarus Line, a group celebrating its own new record, Wildlife.

Youth Lagoon at Bottom of the Hill on Tuesday

As we mentioned previously, Youth Lagoon brings The Year of Hibernation to Bottom of the Hill on Tuesday, November 1st (9pm, $10/12, All Ages). It’s a sold-out show with Young Magic and Parentz.
