The Soft Moon recently premiered the title track from their latest dark-wave concoction for Captured Tracks, Total Decay, out on Halloween.
Personally, I would kill to see The Soft Moon open for Mogwai or John Maus, but their limited amount of tour dates end with a headlining show at the Independent on 8/31, which will also mark the EP’s release show. Part Time Punks is throwing the party here in SF, also presented by labels Aquarius and Dark Entries; opening is Led Er Est (NY).
