San Francisco’s orchestral indie rock ensemble The Definite Articles are declaring their Bottom of the Hill show Saturday the official end to their King Merriweather album cycle, playing with Passenger & Pilot and Blonde Summer (9pm, $10, RSVP).

The Definite Articles – “Sea Things”

Back in November of last year, TDA did an epic, two-night inauguration of the concept record they had captured at Tiny Telephone. On Saturday, they plan to play not only titles off the most recent release, but a few older tunes and covers as well. The next news we’ll hear from the band will be when there’s new material composed, as they’re taking a break until at least the end of this year to focus on that.
