tUnE-yArDs – “Gangsta (Ad-Rock remix)”

A lot of songs get remixed by a lot of artists, so I’m usually a little numb to “new remix” news. That said, tUnE-yArDs‘ “Gangsta” getting reworked by Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys is not only a big deal, but, more impressively, it takes the excellent original song in an engaging new direction. The “Gangsta” 12″ features the original song, the above remix, a remix by Cut Chemist, the instrumental, and an a capella version. It’s out on 9/27 and can be pre-ordered now.
