After a terrific duo set kicking off Regional Bias, Sea of Bees celebrates a new EP by co-headlining Cafe Du Nord on Friday, August 19th (9:30pm, $10/12), with superb local singer-songwriters Chloe Makes Music and Rachel Fannan.

Dark Nights Family Jam celebrates Sands’ new EP, welcomes LA’s Summer Darling

Silian Rail‘s tour with LA’s Summer Darling comes to the Verdi Club on Wednesday, August 17th (8pm, $3-5) as part of the latest installment of Dark Nights. The lineup is ably rounded out by Tartufi and Sands; the latter band is celebrating the release of their new EP at the show.

Local shoegazers hold Fuzzfest at the Hemlock

The Fuzzfest at the Hemlock Tavern on Friday, August 19th (9pm, $7) features four local shoegaze-inspired bands: Slowness, Here Come The Saviours, 2¦Frail, and Moonbeams. Side note: that Moonbeams album has got some serious hooks on it.
