Regional Bias 2011 took place Saturday night, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. All four bands ruled, with the only bittersweet element being the knowledge that Royal Baths’ electrified high-point-among-high-points set was their last in SF for the foreseeable future. If you came, thank you for your support! If you missed it, catch up with this photo set from Nicole Browner, Anna Gazdowicz, and Todd Wanerman.
Thanks again to everyone involved in RB 2011: To our performers, Little Wings, Royal Baths, White Cloud, and Sea of Bees. To our DJs, Peter Arko, Joe Hayes, and Kevin Meenan. To our artists, Tanner Griepentrog, Lionel Guzman, Charlie Homo, Joshua Rampage, Jared Silbert, and Michael Thurston. To our food providers, Rosamunde Sausage Grill and Rocky’s Frybread. To Outside Lands and Treasure Island for their generous raffle prizes. To our tireless staff and volunteers for their assistance throughout the night. Last but not least, thank you to Brian Gorman and everyone at The Verdi Club, which remains one of the best kept secrets in SF live music. (Seriously, how are all ages shows not happening there every night?)
Our next live event is the 2011 Rock Make Street Festival on Saturday, September 17th. Vendor applications are still being accepted at RockMake.com. Have we not announced the performing bands yet? Stay tuned…
