Donovan Quinn & the 13th Month – “Mom’s House”

Donovan Quinn & the 13th Month‘s post-Velvets psych-pop was one of the highlights of last week’s Dark Nights show, and it reminded me to revisit the group’s 2010 full length, Your Wicked Man. Via Soft Abuse’s blog, I was excited to see that Quinn has formed a duo with Six Organs of Admittance’s Ben Chasny called The New Bums.
