Former SF resident Neil Hamburger returns to the Hemlock Tavern Thursday night for two shows of what past experience suggests will be barely-contained mayhem. I recognize that Hamburger’s deranged anti-comedy is something of an acquired taste, but if you are looking for an opportunity to laugh, cry, boo, wince and drink heavily, this is as good an opportunity as any.
Below, a track from Hot February Night, a recording from Hamburger’s tour opening for Tenacious D several years back. (Do I need to mention that it isn’t safe for work?)
Neil Hamburger – “Incident in Kabul”
Two shows, 7:30pm and 10pm, with support from The Kenny “K-Strass” Strasser Yo-Yo Extravaganza and Major Entertainer Mike H. Tickets are available now.
