B.O.B. stands for Bath, Oakland and Bremen. The B.O.B. Festival is held every 2 years and rotates among these 3 cities united in punk rock. The first major gathering took place in Bath, UK in 1995 and the last Oakland B.O.B. fest was in 2005. It all starts tonight with a pub crawl from Heinold’s to Merchants, Beer Revolution and Linden Street Brewery where there will be live punk karaoke.

The fest continues tomorrow at Eli’s Mile High Club with SF’s very own punk mastermind Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine headlining. Thursday is held at Hazmat with Berkeley cowpunks Gr’ups, Oakland’s Everything Must Go and more. UK invades Friday at the Victory Warehouse featuring The Restarts and A-Heads. Saturday features UK’s legendary Subhumans (formed in 1980) at Oakland’s great new home of punk, the Oakland Metro Operahouse.

The finale on Sunday is an all day affair at Linden Street with a Cyclecide Bike Rodeo and yet more local hardcore from the Undead Boys plus punk rock can-can from The Can Cannibals! Check the link for the full schedule. It’s only $40 for all 6 days. Some tickets will be available at the door for each event.
