Following a splendid LP on Siltbreeze, a handful of singles and a great EP on Mexican Summer last year, San Francisco’s The Mantles unveil their european debut single with two fantastic new songs. There’s a hard-to-described, dark, poetic beauty in this band’s music. The more so as this is mixed with cheerful north-californian brightness and the stunning intensity and energy of The Feelies, The Clean or Dream Syndicate.

European label SDZ Records recently released a new single from The Mantles in conjunction with the band’s Euro tour with Nodzzz. The Mantles return to SF on April 8th at The Knockout, with The Wrong Words, Lens, and Wet Illustrated.
