Emily Jane White and Hélène Renaut perform at Cafe Du Nord

It’s frustrating to know that Emily Jane White‘s latest album, Ode to Sentience, was released last year in Europe, but isn’t yet available stateside, but it’s also an indicator of the deserved success the SF musician has found abroad. There’s an all-too-rare opportunity to see her perform at Cafe Du Nord on Wednesday the 9th (9:30pm, $10). As we noted last week, the show’s also the album release party for The Deer Convention, the latest from SF’s Hélène Renaut.
