One of the perennial highlights of the annual Noise Pop Festival is the series of free Happy Hour shows that takes place at Bender’s all week long. The Bay Bridged is proud to host the Happy Hour show on Friday, February 25th, featuring three great local bands. Between the great beer selection at Bender’s and some kick-ass rock and roll, this show is a great way to blow off some steam on a Friday afternoon.

Shannon and the Clams – “Sleep Talk”
Jake Mann & The Upper Hand – “Days Are Long”
Wet Illustrated – “Born Stoked”
To call Shannon and the Clams‘ upcoming garage pop album Sleep Talk anticipated is something of an understatement, and we can’t wait to hear some new songs at the Happy Hour show. Meanwhile, Jake Mann & The Upper Hand just released its second full length of power pop-influenced rock, Parallel South, to some very strong reviews. Kicking off the Happy Hour is Wet Illustrated. After releasing an acclaimed Tim Cohen-recorded 7″ last year, the band’s currently working on new songs and planning new recordings.
