Like many of the Anticon label artists who hail from the Bay Area, yet another new act arises from Oakland: Antonionian. With the announcement of Jordan Dalrymple’s debut LP comes a lengthy Anticon resume: he’s a member of Subtle and 13 & God, and toured with cLOUDDEAD and Yoni Wolf (in the proto-WHY? project Reaching Quiet). Antonionian’s self-titled LP is out March 15th, and he’s playing an album release show on March 23rd at the Rickshaw Stop (8pm, $10).

In other exciting Anticon news, 13 & God is back with their sophomore release, Own Your Ghost, this spring. How a music project spans continents is beyond me, but nonetheless, I’ll be biting my nails down over the next few months waiting on this record to drop. It’s been a good six years since the collaboration between The Notwist, Themselves, and Subtle members last struck a note in unison.
