Big Eagle – “Anywhere the Wind Blows”

Known musically as Big Eagle, Robyn Miller just released her first album, Willow Creek. Recording in Oakland with local whiz Bart Davenport and in Echo Park with Dan Horne (Beachwood Sparks, Music Go Music), Humboldt-raised Miller has been floating around for a while — opening for Bonnie “Prince” Billy and others — before finally releasing her debut collection of folk-rock tunes.

Big Eagle will be performing at the latest (((folkYEAH!))) Winter Residency show at Slim’s on February 8th (8pm, $5). Also playing are Jeffertitti’s Nile, Farmer Dave Scher, Jason Simon (of Dead Meadow) and Ariella Daly.
