On September 18th, 2010, our dear friend Lola Ramos was critically injured in a car accident here in San Francisco, hit by an uninsured drunk driver (read: uninsured drunk asshole). 100% of the proceeds from this show will benefit Lola and her family, paying for her substantial medical bills and rehabilitation. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Some local folks are putting on a benefit show this Friday night at Mighty (8:30pm, $15/20) for a friend injured by a drunk driver. On the docket: Nosaj Thing, Jel and OfNazareth (Can’t Find A Villain) will be holding things down on the electronic hip-hop front, while The Polymer Drone, La Luka, and MyPetMonster offer dubstep from SoCal and SF.
