LA/Oakland experimental pop band KIT recently premiered a Vice Cooler-directed video on The Fader that channels the giddy rush of “Rain” into a scene of a bunch of friends having fun rocking out. The song’s off Invocation, the band’s second full length album, which was produced by Microphones/Mt. Eerie leader Phil Elverum. It’s a pairing I wouldn’t have expected, but it sounds like it really worked.

Here are two more nervy/catchy songs from Invocation:

KIT – “Merticane”

KIT – “Cure Light Wounds”

KIT are at Artists’ Television Access on November 20th (3pm, $6). Invocation is available now.
