The Noe Valley Harvest Festival takes place Saturday, October 23rd in the heart of Noe Valley – 24th St., between Church and Sanchez. While the festival’s primary focus is the celebration of the fall season, the day’s activities will also include local music and other entertainment:
The festival is FREE and one of San Francisco’s favorite ways to say good-bye to summer and hello to fall. Sixty Bay Area artists and crafts people will display and sell their creations just in time for holiday gift giving. Also featured will be live bands, a pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, 2 jumpy tents, a juggler, a caricaturist, a balloon artist, face painting, a dog costume contest, a children’s costume contest, a pie eating contest, and a dunk tank (whew!) to keep you busy! This year after the festival there will be a special free screening of “Lost in the Fog” at 8pm in the public parking lot between Le Zinc and Radio Shack. Bringing the “harvest” to the Harvest Festival – the Noe Valley Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Much like the Bay Bridged’s own 2010Â Rock Make Street Festival, the Noe Valley Harvest Festival will feature some talented young bands, including Rock Make alums The SHE’s and The Psychotherapists.
The festival goes from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. More information can be found on the Noe Valley Harvest Festival website.
