Hardly Strictly Bluegrass needs no introduction. In its 10 years of existence, Hardly Strictly has turned into a juggernaut of a festival, featuring a staggering number of great musical acts in one place (“variety” doesn’t quite do it justice) – and all for the low, low price of FREE.
This weekend, October 1st-3rd, Golden Gate Park will once again open her arms to HSB, and with the weather we’ve been experiencing lately, it’s sure to be rather glorious.
The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2010 schedule is now available, as well as a map and complete set of performer bios. This year’s lineup includes, among many others: the Avett Brothers, Elvis Costello and the Sugarcanes, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Conor Oberst, Emmylou Harris, Lucero, Randy Newman, Richard Thompson, and Rosanne Cash.
