Jonathan Richman is no stranger to residencies at intimate San Francisco venues. This week, the Swedish American Music Hall will host Richman from July 21st to July 23rd, with Olof Arnalds opening all three shows (8:00 pm, $15, all ages).

Richman’s prolific catalog – with releases from both the Modern Lovers and his own solo efforts – will serve as the platform for three solid nights of entertainment. Iceland’s Olof Arnalds will be performing in support of her upcoming new album, Innundir skinni, which is currently streaming via One Little Indian.
