In the midst of SF Popfest 2010, the Rickshaw Stop will host yet another noteworthy bill on Friday, May 28th (10:00 pm, $10/adv, $12/door, all ages) – a show that will trade indie pop for reverberating synths and strings.
Birds & Batteries will co-headline with Judgement Day, preceded by Sacramento’s Sister Crayon, in a show presented by Spinning Platters.
Birds & Batteries have returned from a U.S. tour just in time for Friday’s show, and with a new remix in tow. Odawas took a stab at re-creating B&B’s “The Villain,” and the result is the “Tears of a Clown Remix,” a darker, sprawled-out version of the original:
