[podcast]http://media.libsyn.com/media/thebaybridged/Kacey_Johansing_Show.mp3[/podcast] This week’s podcast spotlights the very talented Kacey Johansing, whose debut album, Many Seasons, comes out next month on Porto Franco Records. Kacey’s been involved in a bunch of different local projects over the past few years; she was in Geographer for a period of time, she’s played with The Blank Tapes, and, lately, she’s been a member of Honeycomb. Many Seasons contains elements of folk and rock akin to those bands, but it’s more principally a gorgeous acoustic pop album, with the multi-instrumentalist’s great voice supported by layers of piano, guitar and strings. This time, it’s Kacey’s friends contributing to her vision, and it’s a vision well worth experiencing.
