Ash Reiter is quickly becoming a tip-of-the-tongue name to local music lovers, as she invites listeners across the Bay to dance along to her newest glimmering folk-pop collection, Paper Diamonds. The album’s release has garnered some critical attention, as has her live show.

Reiter has a weekend of nearby performances — one to benefit the Chilean earthquake victims in Berkeley, and another with local songwriters, one being the Simon Joyner-meets-Adam Green soloist, Adam Balbo. Reiter’s MySpace also lists a few local dates in early May and a slot during the San Francisco Free Folk Festival in June.

Friday 4/23: Starry Plough (Berkeley) with Wave Array, Allofasudden (9pm, $10)
Saturday 4/24: Epicenter Cafe with Anna Ash, Adam Balbo (8pm, $?)
