[podcast]http://media.libsyn.com/media/thebaybridged/Sean_Hayes_Show.mp3[/podcast] This week, we are pleased to feature on our podcast local folk-rock hero Sean Hayes. In March, Hayes released Run Wolves Run, his sixth solo album. While some artists might be in coasting mode by album number six, Sean is still finding new ways to develop his sound. Run Wolves Run features more prominent electric guitar work than prior releases, the result of Hayes finally finding an amp that he liked enough to add to his sound. That might be a simple reason to get more electric, but it’s consistent with Hayes’ aesthetic of making the most of what he has at the time. And what he has, at this point, is a talented circle of friends and an ear for funky, consistently winning tunes.
