In early November, The Dodos posted the following ad on their MySpace blog:

Dodos Music Video Needs A Cool Car

Dodos music video needs a classic-cool car/van from late 60’s – early ’70s with chrome details. (Ideally, from the late 60’s – early ’70’s Ford Econoline or 70’s Karmann Ghia)

The owner of the car needs to be able to drive the car along Highway 1 North of San Francisco as we shoot from outside and inside the vehicle. The video will not feature the driver, only the details of the car and the actress who will ride in the passenger seat. At most, the driver will be silhouetted within the shot.

The need is immediate. Ideally, one day between November 5-8. We will compensate driver with gas refill and stipend for driving.
