If a pop punk band can be legendary and not be named Blink 182, Shonen Knife is quite the candidate. Of all female and Japanese descent, Shonen Knife has been hopping continents the last couple of months; the full list of US shows can be found on their MySpace.
Though birthed in the 80s, Shonen Knife continues to cut shiny tracks like the title track from their newest record Supergroup (above). And, it’s been three long years since their last visit to the city!
