Are you a Bay Area college student interested in getting significant experience in the world of independent music? The Bay Bridged is looking for Spring and Summer interns to help us with a variety of new and ongoing projects. We can offer you hands-on experience in a creative and collaborative working environment and will work with you to receive college credit for your work.

The following positions are currently available filled:

Marketing and Public Relations Internship: We’re looking for an intern to get hands-on in helping The Bay Bridged expand our public presence, through social networking and a variety of innovative promotional strategies. Marketing is now more important than ever in indie music and this internship would give you significant experience in this field.

Event Planning and Production Internship: We’re in the process of developing an exciting number of upcoming live music events. If you’re interested in learning about what it takes to create successful concerts–including booking bands, securing permits, and making sure everything runs smoothly–this is the internship for you.

Content Development Internship: Interested in writing, blogging, editing, photography, and/or multimedia? Content is the lifeblood of any blog and we’re looking for an intern to help expand our coverage of the San Francisco Bay Area music scene and to work with us to stay on the cutting edge of online content.

Each intern will be expected to work approximately eight hours a week for the duration of the internship. Most of the work can be done from home, with some meetings and other events to be held at our studio in the Mission District.
