This Sunday, Oct. 26th, Dolorata are playing FREE OF CHARGE with fellow local bands, Th’ Moonlight Sexy, The Departed and Mostro, at the first annual Indian Summer Jam. A band with an amazingly unique view on Rock and Roll and blues, they have been said to “recall the sensibility of the rock bands of the 70’s, while simultaneously existing in the present tense.” This female quintet has played at just about every great San Francisco venue and have been praised for living up to opening for Iggy and The Stooges. Check out their video for “You’ve Gotta Want It” and listen to a few of their tracks from their album Believer at their MySpace page.

This all day event for all ages takes place in San Francisco at the beautiful Golden Gate Park Music Concourse on 9th Avenue, adjacent to the Japanese Tea Garden and De Young Museum. Other bands performing include Jason Stokes (Boston), Night Swim (Brooklyn) and Desire Lines (NYC). So stop by for awhile or dedicate your entire Sunday to listening to some sweet rock, violins, optimistic goth, didgeridoos and much more more. Best of all, you can just hang out and use this beautiful venue to soak up the last of our Indian Summer before it leaves us for the year.

12pm, free.
