This Friday at Cafe du Nord, Berkeley’s Bart Davenport will finalize the release of his fourth solo album Palaces. This album, released on Antenna Farm Records, is a collaboration with Kelley Stoltz, and is just another reason for Berkeley to be proud to shelter Davenport.

Harp says about the album, “Refreshingly unhip and unpretentious, Davenport will remind you of why you loved so many of your dad’s old records: because they made you feel good.” Effortless pop songs flow from this album, as with many other of his projects, including his 2007 breakout band Honeycut.
